Presence on Social Networks
(1) We maintain online presences (fan pages) on social networks and platforms. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR, as data processing is based on our legitimate interest in effective information and communication. For contract-related communication, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR.
(2) When you access and use our fan page, the social network providers process your personal data for analytics and advertising purposes. We have no influence on this and are not informed of the extent of data processing. Providers may create user profiles to display interest-based advertising. Cookies are typically stored on your devices. Data processing may also occur outside the EU. U.S. providers are certified under the Privacy Shield, committing to comply with EU data protection standards. The respective provider of the social network is primarily responsible for data processing through the fan page. You can exercise your data subject rights (see Section 4 “Your Rights”) directly with the providers.
